# PDF to Word Conversion (Add-In & Web)

Turn a PDF into an editable Word document from the add-in or the web app, keeping numbering, tables and columns intact.

DraftPilot supports **PDF to Word conversion**, making it easy to turn any PDF into a clean, editable Word document, directly from our **MS Word add-in** or our **web app**.

Whether it’s a long contract with auto-numbering, complex tables, or two-column formatting, our conversion engine preserves your layout and structure reliably. This is ideal for legal documents, policies, scanned contracts, or any structured PDF you want to work on in Word.

## 🔄 How to Use It

You can convert PDFs in two ways:

### 1\. In the DraftPilot Add-in for Word

1.  Open any Word document (can be empty) and launch the **DraftPilot** add-in.
    
2.  Click on **Convert PDF to Word**.
    
3.  Drag and drop your PDF into the upload box.
    
4.  Download the converted Word file directly from the add-in.

### 2\. In the DraftPilot Web App

1.  Visit [app.draftpilot.ai](http://app.draftpilot.ai) and log in.
    
2.  Navigate to **PDF to Word** in the left-hand menu.
    
3.  Upload your PDF by dragging it into the box.
    
4.  Download the generated .docx file.
