# How to deploy DraftPilot using Integrated Apps

Instructions for IT teams deploying the add-in through Integrated Apps in the Microsoft 365 admin centre.

_Most users will_ [_download DraftPilot via the Microsoft App store_](/knowledge-base/downloading-draftpilot-from-the-microsoft-app-store)_. If that is not an option within your organisation or your IT department prefers to use "Integrated Apps" this page will show you how._

**Go to** [https://admin.microsoft.com](https://admin.microsoft.com)

In the left hand side click "Settings" and "Integrated Apps". (If you don't see Settings you may need to click "Show More"

On the **Deployed Apps** tab, click the button that says **Get apps.**

Search for **DraftPilot** and click **Get it now.**

Next decide if you want to roll it out to a group of users, or the entire organization.

You also have the option to send an email notification.

The email notification looks like this:

DraftPilot requires the following permissions:

_Can read and make changes to your document_ \- DraftPilot updates the actual text of a document, so this is required.

_Can send data over the Internet_ \- DraftPilot is a Web based application, so requires this permission.

Click **Next** then **Finish deployment.** This will now be available for users to run on their machine.

## **How a user runs DraftPilot for the first time after deployment**

**Note**: the user must be logged into their copy of Word with the same account you deployed to. If they are using a copy of Word that is registered to a different user, they will need to log out and log back in.

Now the user should just open up Word and click "Get Add-ins" (or just "Add-ins" on the Mac).

Next they should go over to "Admin Managed" and DraftPilot should be listed. They can just click it and then click "Add"
